Pub sessions What would a festival be without pub sessions for singers and musicians alike? Two venues all with very different styles of session, but all with a warm welcome!

Sailor's Return / Kings Arms
This is just a rough outline of what will be going on - and it may well change when Jo and Roger get back from their holiday! Come back soon for the latest information.

The Sailor's Return pub

The Sailor's Return - Home of the regular Wednesday night song/music sessions led by Jo and Roger Quigley. A great pub with great atmosphere. On the Quay at the harbour end of St. Nicholas Street, round the corner from the multi-storey car park.

Friday 6June
8 pm to 11 pm

Open Session - song and music; Beatles to Bach and everything in between! Hosted by Des Quick

Saturday 7June

12 noon to 2 pm

Tune Session - mainly English. Hosted by Colin Thompson
3 pm to 5 pm Song Session - gentle songs: bring a tissue! Hosted by Dawn Harris.
8 pm to 11 pm Open Session - song and music; Beatles to Bach and everything in between! Hosted by Des Quick
Sunday 8 June
12 noon to 2 pm

Bluegrass and Old Time Session Strictly NO percussion please!
Hosted by Nigel Canter

3 pm to 5 pm Alhambra - will host this session in their unique and inimitable way. Humour, songs, music and a lot of fun!
8 pm to 11 pm

The Survivors' Session - staying power required! Bring your party piece. Hosted by Roger and Jo Quigley.

   
King's Arms pub on the quayside

The King's Arms - Child -friendly and welcoming we're pleased they've agreed to host sessions again this year and to be a key sponsor for the festival! In Trinity Street, on the way to Brewer's Quay and Hope Square, just down from the Harbour Bridge.

8 pm to 11 pm Irish Music Session - tunes only. Hosted by Roger Gall
Saturday 7 June
12 noon to 2 pm Song and TuneSession - contemporary and traditional in a more mellow vein. Hosted by John Anderson.
3 pm to 5 pm Tune Session - unhosted, but come along and play anyway.
8 pm to 11 pm Fast and FuriousSession - mainly tunes. Hosted by Mike McDaid
Sunday 8 June
12 noon to 2 pm Shanty-ish Session - come and raise the roof with stentorian choruses with a nautical theme. Hosted by Geoff Payne
3 pm to 5 pm Song Session - traditional and contemporary. Hosted by Annelie and Friends
8 pm to 11 pm Final Fling - Tunes Session - fast, furious and only for those with stamina
